Early Intervention and Beyond

Due to EA/TEF and other aspects associated with the VACTERL, our babies are born with a condition or special need that affects their development.  Sometimes, the condition(s) may not become apparent until the child becomes older.

Therefore, it is always important to find specific therapeutic ways to help a child become as functional as possible.  Early Intervention is one means of ensuring your child receives services at an early age to enable/help them to reach their milestones.

The most common specialists utilized to help your child reach their goals:

  • Developmental teachers
  • Occupational therapists
  • Physical therapists
  • Speech and language pathologist/audiologists
  • Vision consultants
  • Hearing consultants
